There is a new Pottery Barn bunk bed in the upstairs kids room (with full on bottom, twin on top) so a total of 5 kids can now bunk together for fun memories! Our house is a short walk to Blue Heron Park, where there is a playground, pickleball and tennis courts. There is also a community gym, indoor courts and events at the community center. Restaurants and bars are a short walk away, including: Shepard BBQ, Village Market, Plaza Mexico, the E-Club, Surf's Up on the pier, Kathryn's Bistro & Martini Bar, Snapperz, Ben and Jerry's and Great Wall Chinese restaurant. You can also walk to the public boat ramp and a bike rental shop. In the main house upstairs, there is a king-size bedroom on the main level in the primary suite with its own private full bathroom with a shower, double vanity and walk-in cedar closet. Upstairs on the top level, there are two bedrooms that share a bathroom: One with a queen bed and another bedroom with two twin-size beds, perfect for kids and a new Pottery Barn bunk bed with a full on bottom and twin on top. So this fun bunk room can now sleep 5! The king and queen beds both have super comfortable Tuft & Needle mattresses. The top-level bathroom has a bathtub/shower. The kitchen is large and fully stocked with a Keurig coffee maker, regular coffee machine, pots, pans, glasses and dishes. We also have any baby or toddler supplies you might need during your stay. LARGER GROUP? The newly renovated ground-floor apartment has 2 bedrooms and one full bath, completely separate and private. The apartment is linked by an interior staircase. Perfect for grandparents or friends/family who would like to vacation with you but still have their own private space! You can go between the main house and the groundfloor unit via the internal staircase in the garage. The groundfloor unit has a master bedroom with sunroom (queen-size bed) and a bunk-bed room. The apartment has a full kitchen with a new LG induction oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. It also has its own separate new LG washer and dryer. In total, our beach house has 5 BEDROOMS and 3 FULL BATHROOMS AND ONE HALF BATHROOM. We also have an EXTRA FOLDAWAY SINGLE BED (good for teens/kids) and a PACK-N-PLAY for babies/toddlers. There is a HIGH-CHAIR and TWO BABY BATH TUBS available for use. What we LOVE about the property: -Located on the oceanside, a short walk to the beach with multiple access paths (including handicap/stroller friendly) -we have an upper deck SCREEN-IN PORCH where you can sit and enjoy ocean breezes and a back deck -the house has an outdoor hose for washing off your feet on the side of the house, a beautifully landscaped yard and a small backyard, with a BBQ available for use -Located a few houses away from the Emerald Isle bike path (where you can bike up and down the island!) -The Emerald Isle Community Center is across the street with a gym that is available for a small fee to the public (has weights, workout equipment and also workout classes!) -Blue Heron public park is across the street (has a huge playground and a fun sand box with play houses for the kids) -pickle ball courts and tennis courts are across the street -short walk to lots of amazing restaurants -walk to the E-Club, Surf's Up or Kathryn's Bistro & Martini Bar for a fun night out -We have lots of BOARD GAMES and BOOKS -We have lots of CHILDREN'S TOYS available for use -We have a pack-n-play crib, high chair and baby bath tub available for use. -We provide a handy, personal GUIDEBOOK (both digital and in print) to help you get the most out of your stay. -We have BEACH TOYS available for use and a few BIKES -We have a BEACH UMRELLA and SMALL COOLER available for use -There is a 3-in-1 GAME TABLE in in-law suite Other things to note We have electronic Schlage locks for keyless access, making check-in a breeze.
